Big City and the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy are excited to launch our 2024 Spring and Summer Beach Leagues at Pier 6 at the volleyball courts along the Waterfront in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
With three enormous courts, professional net systems with in-ground poles, spectacular lighting, what better way to spend your free time than dipping your toes in the sand with friends, competing for great Big City prizes and enjoying the fresh air!

Co-Ed Rules require at least one female player and 4 males maximum on the court at all times

Start times are 6:15 pm, 7:05 pm, 7:55pm, 8:45 pm, and 9:35 pm

For 6v6, Big City will create teams of 10-12 players out of those who register as individuals online.
For 4v4, Big City will create teams of up to 7 players out of those who register as individuals online.
Have a friends who want to play with you too? No problem! Everyone should register and pay online as an individuals then enter who you want to play with when you sign-up and we’ll place you all together.
Last minute subs or “ringers” on game night or additions to rosters will not be permitted, unless you sign-up a complete team.
Only changing room available is the bathroom behind Forninos
Due to weather and event conflicts, teams may play double-headers some evenings.
Matches are played in all weather situations except thunder and lightning. If it looks like rain, bring a change of clothes.
