Big City Volleyball's Girls' Youth League (GYL) is for 7th–12th grade girls looking for a competitive and fun volleyball league without the demands of club-level travel. With weekly practices, weekend matches, and divisions in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, players get the full team experience—coaching, jerseys, refereed games, and a season-ending All-City Championship.
Perfect for school team players or advanced class participants, GYL offers a supportive and competitive environment that builds skills, teamwork, and love for the game.
NEW Players:
Must attend at least one mandatory tryout to be considered for placement on a team. This ensures fair evaluation and proper placement based on skill level and experience. View tryout events and register below.
RETURNING Players:
Are not required to try out again. They can register directly for the league.

City Championship - Feb 8, 2026 FOR TEAMS THAT QUALIFY
Match Time Frame: 11 am-6 pm
2 divisions: 7-8th grade / 9-12th grade
Once a Week Practice Days and Time: M-F between 6pm - 9:30pm (Depending on location)

Bonus: Players in this program will receive a $300 DISCOUNT for joining Big City Volleyball's Regional Travel Club.
In order to participate, all NEW players must attend one Try-Out to be considered for the Winter 2026 League and should have prior playing experience on a school team or have taken our advanced youth volleyball classes during the year or at one of our Summer Camps.
